Toshiba Satellite C655D-S5300 Spec

Toshiba has made available a budget full-sized laptop as part of the Satellite series just in time for the Thanksgiving holidays.

Called the Satellite C655D-S5300, the Windows 7 notebook offers a 15.6-inch screen with a 1366x768 resolution, Fusion E-300 processor with integrated Radeon HD 6310 GPU, 4GB RAM, 320GB HDD, DVD drive and webcam. Connectivity options are a bit limited at only 2x USB 2.0 ports, Ethernet, wireless-n and VGA-out. 

Overall, the notebook weighs in at a hefty 2.49kg and is about 1.5 inches (3.81cm) thick. Battery life is expected to last 5 hours and 56 minutes, a little more than usual for budget 15.6-inch notebooks due to the low power AMD Fusion core. The Satellite C655D should be optimal for light users needing quick access to web browsing, word processing and email. The notebook is now on sale for $270 at Best
